You can call me a war-monger or stupid..or foolish, but I pray that what I fear may happen…..never really happens.

              Today we, in America, are extremely divided over the conflict in Iraq.

On all sides we hear cries for us to pullout and leave the Iraqis to settle their own future. 

              But I see an even more menacing picture in that same Middle East.

              Only the older Americans remember the days of Adolph Hitler in Germany.  They know little of the Nazi blitzkrieg , the slaughter of some six million jews in the name of a pure race.   Suppose for a moment that Hitler had created the atomic bomb….after all they were working on it…..and think of what would have happened had he dropped an atomic bomb on London...or even perhaps on the United States.   The results would be dreadful indeed.

Now...flash back to Iran.  At the moment, we know that Iran is not only supplying the Hezbollah insurgents in Lebanon to the tune of two hundred million dollars a year, but they also area now supplying 250 million to the followers of Hamas in Palestine.

The Hezbollah have been filling the streets of Beirut for the past week in an effort to take over that Democratic government and establish Iran as the controller.

Syria is also virtually a servant to Iran.

Now….let’s suppose the Iranian leader manages to produce a nuclear weapon.  Certainly he has denied any nuclear weapon intentions, but we know his word...like that of Hitler….is worth little.

Suppose also that now he controls not only Iraq, but Lebanon, Syria and Palestine.  His avowed intention is to wipe Israel off the face of the map.

He has also warned the European nations of a deadly consequence if they participate in sanctions against his country because of its nuclear intentions.

Unquestionably, he would become the Hitler of the middle east, and Saudi Arabia and the few other Middle East nations would be under his thumb.

              Not only that but the precious oil of the Middle East would then be under his control, and with that he could well blackmail the entire world.

              As I said….call me a warmonger and other names, but facts point to another Hitler rising from the sands of the Middle East to menace the world.

              The U.N. has proven useless in the area.  The U.N. forces dispatched to Lebanon to mediate the recent Israeli-Hezbollah conflict are merely standing by watching those terrorists take over the Democratic government.

Already we see the President of Iraq journeying to Iran to consult with the madman of that country. 

The fact is that if we do not prevail in Iraq…..the madman of Teheran will take over the Middle East and what I have just speculated will become fact.

America will awake to the danger too late.   The lessons of World War Two have become lost in the history books…..but they could well be ushering in another Hitler unless we win in Iraq and take a strong stand to prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear nation.

Fortunately with Hitler...the west united in time and eventually triumphed but only after a terrible toll in human lives.  We may not be so fortunate with a Middle East Hitler.
