The U.S. Department of Health
and Human Services has made suicide
prevention/awareness a national priority.
The 2012 National Strategy for Suicide
Prevention cites that suicide can be
significantly reduced through applying a
comprehensive set of recommendations,
including providing 24-hour crisis teams and
conducting community outreach. Providing
24-hour crisis care was linked to the
largest decrease in suicide rates.
Here at Wynne Broadcasting we
are dedicated to getting this information
out to our listeners and help make a
positive difference in our community. This
is why we have launched the Address the Pain
campaign and are making it easy for you to
find the information and resources that are
available to you locally with just a click
or a call.
You will also find a calendar
of events containing, groups, meetings,
activities and resources. You can click on
any of the sponsors’ links and go directly
to their site for more information.
If you’re hurting, depressed
or just need someone to talk to, please use
one or all of the resources available to you
24 hours a day, 7 days a week and get help!
People do care!
All of us at 3kj want to
thank our sponsors for helping make this
campaign possible and thank you for what you
